Serve Teams
Panera Bread Team
Volunteers pick up bread from Panera on Saturday evenings and then bag it up to share after the Sunday Worship service. Current rotation involves once a month duties, but the more volunteers, the less the frequency!
Refreshments Team
Refreshment team arrives a before the Sunday service and arranges the pastries, cookies, etc. so that Harbor can enjoy them after the service. The clean up is minimal and this is a great job for any introverts.
Missions Team
The Missions Team meets about every other month to get updates on missionaries, and help plan Missions Sundays and Minute for Missions to inform and spur our congregation on to local and global mission involvement.
Mercy Action Team
Mercy Action Team meets on as-needed basis as needs arise from congregation and community. This team checks into each request and approves any release of Harbor's Mercy Fund.
Audio Visual (A/V) Team
The A/V team is involved with running slides through our Pro Presenter program, as well as running the sound board. The slides job involves coming to Sunday morning rehearsal, while the sound person is need at both Thursday night practice and Sunday morning rehearsal. The team rotates and trains new volunteers.
Transportation Team
We have several folks who regularly attend who cannot drive. Please consider providing a ride so that they can worship with their church family!
Worship Team
The Worship Team practices their craft on Thursday nights and then rehearses on Sunday mornings. We have rotation of different voices and instruments and are always open to having more people use their gifts. Those interested are invited to come to a few rehearsals.
Children and Youth
We have a rotation of students and adults who serve in the Nursery during our Sunday service and also in Children's Church during the sermon. Every other Sunday evening we have a Harbor Kids program (2nd-5th) and Youth Group (6th-12th). We also need help with programs such as VBS throughout the year. Let us know if you want to play an active role in discipling and reaching the next generations!
Greeting Team
Greeters are the first faces visitors as well as regular attenders see when they walk through the doors, so they have a huge opportunity for encouraging folks. It's easy, helpful, impactful, and the more we have the better!
